October: Ending of Buddhist Lent Festival in the morning laymen And laywomen will gather for alms giving procession at the temple, at the river boat racing is held, in the evening Fire Lighting Boat from the villages in Huayxai come to the Mekong river bank to attend Fire Boat Competition the crown of people enjoying happily. the river is illuminated by candle light from fire boat.
